SYMPTOMS
After you enter the product key and then click Next in the Windows Vista Setup Wizard, you may experience a long delay. This delay lasts about 20 to 60 seconds.
CAUSE
This behavior may occur because of a timing issue in the Windows Vista Setup Wizard. This timing issue is caused by the following processes:
| • | The product key validation process |
| • | The Windows Vista setup process |
When you click Next, these two processes run at the same time.
