SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
• You use Windows Photo Gallery or Windows Live Photo Gallery on a Windows Vista-based computer or on a Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)-based computer to print an image to the Windows XPS Document Writer.
• The image in question is an Adobe RGB profile-embedded TIFF image.

In this scenario, the colors may be incorrect.Specifically, the output-image color map may not match the expected color map.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because Windows Photo Gallery or Windows Live Photo Gallery does not correctly use the embedded Adobe RGB color profile when the image is passed to the Windows XPS print driver. This problem occurs when the image uses the Adobe RGB color space.
