Action
On a Windows Vista-based Tablet PC, links to Tablet PC applications are broken. Specifically, the following links are broken: Flicks Training, Ink Watson, Pen Training, Shape Collector, and Touch Training. To view the links, click Start, click All programs, click Accessories, and then click Tablet PC.
On a Windows Vista-based desktop computer, the Tablet PC folder is empty. To view the folder, click Start, click All programs, and then click Accessories.
Cause
When the Tablet PC Optional Components feature is disabled by using the Turn Windows features on or off option, the Tablet PC folder is not removed and is empty.
Resolution
To work around this issue, delete the Tablet PC folder. To do this, follow these steps:
1.      Click Start, click All programs, and then click Accessories.
2.      Right click Tablet PC, and then click Delete.
3.      Click Yes when you are prompted for a confirmation.
If you want to restore the Tablet PC applications, enable the Tablet PC Optional Components feature. To do this, follow these steps:
1.       Click Start, type Programs and Features in the Start Search box, and then click Programs and Features in the Programs list.Â
2.       Under Tasks, click Turn Windows features on or off.
If you are prompted for an administrator password, type the password. If you are prompted for confirmation, click Continue.Â
3.      Click to select the Tablet PC Optional Components check box, and then click OK.
