When you use Microsoft Office Outook 2007 or Microsoft Office Word 2007, a section of the window may be outside the screen area of the hardware device.

·          In Outlook, the New Contact dialog will not display all of the contents, and there is no scrollbar.  The hidden portion of the dialog can be displayed by minimizing the Ribbon in the Fluent UI.  To minimize the Ribbon, click on the widget to the right of the Quick Access Toolbar to display the menu.  Then select ‘Minimize the Ribbon’ from the menu.

·          In Outlook, the Styles dialog may not fully display all of the contents.  The scrollbar is available for the list of styles, but this will not cause all of the contents to be displayed.  To view all of the contents, click with the mouse on the widget next to the close button in the dialog, and then select ‘Move’ or ‘Size’ from the menu.  Then the dialog can be moved or sized as needed.

·         In Word, the Manage Sources option on the References tab of the Ribbon is wider than the screen will allow.  The window can be moved by using the mouse to drag the title bar of the window.

This issue may occur if the 2007 Office suite is run on a hardware device that has a screen resolution that is 800×600 or less. For example, this issue may occur if you try to install a 2007 Office suite or use the 2007 Microsoft Office products on an Ultra-Mobile PC device where the screen resolution is set to 800×480.

Note The system requirements for the 2007 Office suites specify a minimum resolution of 1024×768.

To workaround this issue, change the display resolution to 1024 x 768. If the display resoution isn’t able to resolve this problem, manually move the dialog box or scroll the window to display the field that cannot be appeared.
