SYMPTOMS

When you try to connect to a shared resource from a Windows Vista-based client computer, you receive an error message that resembles the following error message:
A device attached to the system is not functioning.

This problem occurs if you try to connect to a shared resource on a Network Appliance filer network-attached storage device.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information
