SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario. You install Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006 on a computer that is running Windows Server 2008. You try to start the Digital Image Library. The Digital Image Library does not start successfully. You also do not receive an error message.
CAUSE
This problem occurs if the Desktop Experience feature of Windows Server 2008 is not installed on the computer.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, install the Desktop Experience feature for Windows Server 2008.
