In addition to the configuration information in the article, if the CRL lookup is happening in the CLM web application, we need to use the following instructions instead.

In the aspnet.config in the ASP .net installation folder, Add the tag: 

<configuration> <runtime> <generatePublisherEvidence enabled=false/> </runtime> </configuration>
