    On a computer that has Internet Explorer 7 installed, you apply the Internet Explorer Maintenance Group Policy settings to add a pop-up blocker exception site.
      In the Internet Options dialog box, you manually add a new pop-up blocker exception site.
        You reapply the Group Policy settings on the computer.

        In this scenario, you the new pop-up blocker exception site that you manually added in the Internet Options dialog box is missing from this dialog box.

        Note This problem does not occur on computers that have Internet Explorer 6 installed.

        Post-installation information

        After you apply this hotfix on a 32-bit operating system, you must edit the registry to enable the hotfix. To do this, follow these steps:

        Steps to reproduce the problem

        1. In the Local Group Policy Editor, configure the Internet Explorer Maintenance Group Policy settings to add a pop-up blocker exception site and a trusted site.
        2. Refresh the Group Policy settings.
        3. Make sure that the trusted site and the pop-up blocker exception site have been added successfully.
        4. In the Internet Options dialog box, manually add a new trusted site and a new pop-up blocker exception site.
        5. Refresh the Group Policy settings.

        Notice that the new pop-up blocker exception site that you added in step 4 does not appear. However, the new trusted site that is added in step 4 appears as expected.
