Post-installation information

After you apply this hotfix on a 32-bit operating system, you must edit the registry to enable the hotfix. To do this, follow these steps:

Steps to reproduce the problem
| 1. | In the Local Group Policy Editor, configure the Internet Explorer Maintenance Group Policy settings to add a pop-up blocker exception site and a trusted site. |
| 2. | Refresh the Group Policy settings. |
| 3. | Make sure that the trusted site and the pop-up blocker exception site have been added successfully. |
| 4. | In the Internet Options dialog box, manually add a new trusted site and a new pop-up blocker exception site. |
| 5. | Refresh the Group Policy settings.
Notice that the new pop-up blocker exception site that you added in step 4 does not appear. However, the new trusted site that is added in step 4 appears as expected. |
