SYMPTOMS
After you apply security update 929123, you may be prompted by a dialog box that requests more input about how to continue when you browse a Web site.
CAUSE
This issue occurs because you do not have the appropriate content-type header information for the Web archive (.mht) files on the Web site.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, set up mapping on the Web server from the .mht file name extension to the message/rfc822 content type. To do this, you must add the following mapping information:
content-type=message/rfc822
For example, if you want to set up the MHT MIME type for Apache, follow these steps:
| 1. | Make sure that you have administrative credentials for the server. If you do not have administrative credentials and if you cannot obtain these credentials, ask the server administrator to update this MIME type extension. |
| 2. | Move to the apache_root/httpd/conf folder, and then use a text editor to open the Srm.conf file. |
| 3. | Add the following line of code to the end of the file.
Make sure that the file ends by using a blank line. |
| 4. | Save your changes, and then close the file. |
| 5. | Restart the Web server. |
