To resolve this problem, apply hotfix 957692, and then use the IMAP Use INTERNALDATE registry entry to enable the hotfix. To do this, follow these steps:

- Add the IMAP Use INTERNALDATE registry entry. To do this, follow these steps:
- Exit Outlook 2007
- Start Registry Editor.
- In Windows Vista: Click Start

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or provide confirmation.
- In Windows XP: Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
- In Windows Vista: Click Start
- Locate and then click one of the following registry subkeys, as appropriate for your situation:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER Software Microsoft Office 12.0 Outlook Options Mail
If you use policies, click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER Software Policies Microsoft Office 12.0 Outlook Options MailNote Both registry subkeys perform the same function.
- On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
- Type IMAP Use INTERNALDATE, and then press ENTER.
- Right-click IMAP Use INTERNALDATE, and then click Modify.
- In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
- Exit Registry Editor.
